Join family, friends, and neighbors as we celebrate life together as a community. The Community Lantern Lighting brings together individuals from all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life to join in one memorable night. Together we will create a beautiful and serene scene as thousands of floating water lanterns are set adrift in the pond at Laurelhurst Park.

Where is the event?
The event takes place at the pond in Laurelhurst Park. Laurelhurst Park is located in SE Portland near SE Stark St. and SE Cesar E Chavez Blvd
Is there an age limit for the event?
No. All ages are welcome but tickets must be purchased for anyone eight (8) or older.
Are the lanterns cleaned up?
Yes, we will clean up all lanterns at the end of the event and dispose of them properly. Our company is environmentally friendly and committed to keeping our events as sustainable as possible.
Can I bring my own lantern?
Sorry, we do not allow any lanterns to be brought in. We have additional lanterns for purchase on site.
Can I bring my own chair?
Absolutely! There are park benches around the area, but we encourage you to bring your own chair or blanket.
Can I bring my own food or snacks?
Yes, we do allow outside food & drink. We will have food vendors on site for meal options as well.
Can I bring my pet?
Yes, this is a pet friendly event. Please keep all dogs on leashes.
Can I get a refund?
Sorry there are no refunds for this event.

Street parking is limited so please carpool with others! We also encourage riding your bike, a scooter, bus, uber or lyft!

Our lanterns are biodegradable and will be cleaned up after the event.
We are committed to leaving each community cleaner than when we arrived. We go to great lengths to ensure a cleaner, more beautiful environment. Our team cleans up all the lanterns following the event. In addition, the lanterns are 100% biodegradable so they are eco-friendly.
