THE COMBINE

The challenges include:
Trial 1: Shuttle Run
Each participant will run – 10 yards and back to the starting line, 20 yards and back to the starting line, 30 yards and back to the starting line – with a small weighted object that you must drop in a bin. Once all three objects have been retrieved the lid may be closed at which point the timer will stop. The goal is to run as fast as possible, scores are based on the total completion time (there is a 60 second time cap).
Trial 2: Sandbag Toss
Each participant will throw – an 18 pound kettlebell sandbag, a second 18 pound kettlebell sandbag, and a third 18 pound kettlebell sandbag – backward over their head. Once the third sandbag has come to rest the timer will stop. The goal is to throw as far as possible, scores are based on the furthest thrown bag (there is a 60 second time cap)
Trial 3: Stone Lift
Each participant will lift – 40 pound stone for females, 75 pound stone for males – over a 42″ bar. Run around the apparatus, lift and drop the stone over the bar again. The goal is to lift the stone over the bar as many times as possible, scores are based on the number of reps (there is a 60 second time cap).
