AM I REGISTERED?
You can search for your name by clicking here (if your name is there you are registered). If you would like to change distances or if there is any info that needs correcting (mis-spelled names, wrong age, etc) please read the next FAQ.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY PERSONAL INFO OR RACE DISTANCE?
You can update your personal info (Gender, Date of Birth, Email Address, Day Phone, Mailing Address, Emergency Contact Name/Phone, How Did You Hear About This Event, User search on ACTIVE.com, and Custom Questions.) by going to your Active.com account and clicking on “my events”. Once there, locate the appropriate event, click the Edit Registration Information link, update the info and click continue. The deadline to change your information is Tuesday July 12th at 1159pm. After that date, please contact us at [email protected] to make any changes.

CAN I GET A REFUND?
Sorry there are no refunds for any of our events. See below on how to transfer your registration.

CAN I TRANSFER MY REGISTRATION TO SOMEONE ELSE?
Yes you can. You can read how to transfer your registration by following this link. Once you do that, follow the instructions. Transfers cost $20 each. The deadline to transfer registration is Tuesday July 12th at 11:59pm.

AM I GUARANTEED A T-SHIRT?
You are only guaranteed a t-shirt if you register before the t-shirt cutoff date. For this event the date is Tuesday July 5th at 11:59pm. Anyone registering after that date will need to wait until after they complete their race to check for any available t-shirts. Sizes are limited and definitely not guaranteed at that point. Avoid the hassle and register before the deadline!

IS THERE A TIME LIMIT TO COMPLETE THE EVENT?
Yes there is. We ask that everyone run / walk 18 minutes per mile or faster. That amounts to completing the event in roughly four hours.

CAN I RUN WITH MY DOG?

If you have a service dog, you are welcome to run with your dog. Otherwise we do not allow dogs, cats, monkeys, zebras etc into the event.

CAN I RUN WITH A JOGGING STROLLER?

Yes.

CAN I LISTEN TO MUSIC WHILE I RUN?

Yes you can. However, this is an open course and there will be vehicles driving on it. Please keep the sound at a minimum for your own safety.

IS THERE PARKING?

This is mainly on-street parking. Please carpool or take public transportation. Biking there is a piece of cake. You can take the Springwater Corridor trail, the very same one you will be running on!

IS THERE A GEAR CHECK?

For your convenience we have a complimentary clothing check, we have reusable bags for your use but we encourage you to bring your own. IMPORTANT! Please do not leave valuables at the gear check. Although our gear checks are very safe and secure, we will not be responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items.

WHERE DO THE RACES START AND FINISH?

The half marathon 10k and 5k races start and finish at Sellwood Riverfront Park. Please don’t confuse this with Sellwood Park, which is just up the hill.

WHEN IS THE AWARD CEREMONY / WHAT ARE THE AWARDS?

The award ceremony will take place at approximately pm for the 5K and 7:15pm for the half and 10k events. We will announce the winners, and have trophies for the top three male / female overall in each distance as well as the top three male / female masters overall. We have ribbons for top three male / female in each age category for each race distance.

WHEN / WHERE IS THE KIDS RACE?

The kids race is at 4:45pm and starts / finishes at the finish line for the adult races. It is a half mile out and back.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY REGISTRATION?

We have lots of goodies for you! There are games, a beer garden with beer, cider, wine and mimosas, tasty food, commemorative tech t-shirt, medals (for half marathoners), chip timing, live music after the event and much much more!

HOW DO I GET THERE?

You can Google directions to the park from wherever you are coming from. Sellwood Riverfront Park is located on SE Oaks Park Way in Portland.

HOW / WHERE DO I GET MY ID CHECKED AND DO I REALLY NEED IT?

Yes, you definitely need your ID. You must have a stamp or a wristband to get your beer. It is best if you get your ID checked EARLY and get it done with. Then you can avoid one more line when you finish. We have an ID check set up starting in the morning. You can get your ID checked there or at the beer area.
