AM I REGISTERED?
Please go to our “Am I Registered” page now and look up your name and race info (if your name is there you are registered). If you would like to change distances or if there is any info that needs correcting (mis-spelled names, wrong age, etc) please read the next FAQ.
HOW DO I CHANGE MY PERSONAL INFO OR RACE DISTANCE?
You can switch your personal info or race distance by following this link. You will need to enter your confirmation code and then your DOB.
CAN I TRANSFER MY REGISTRATION TO SOMEONE ELSE?
Yes you can. You can transfer your registration by clicking here. You will need to enter your confirmation code and then your DOB. Once you do that, follow the instructions. The person you transferred to will receive an email (check spam) with a link to register. Transfers cost $15 each.
CAN I RUN WITH MY DOG?
If you have a service dog, you are welcome to run with your dog. Otherwise we do not allow dogs, cats, monkeys, zebras etc into the event.
CAN I RUN WITH A JOGGING STROLLER?
Yes.
CAN I LISTEN TO MUSIC WHILE I RUN?
Yes you can. However, you need to be well aware that emergency vehicles and the occasional rogue driver may be on the course. Please don’t crank your music to 11.
IS THERE PARKING?
Yes there is plenty of parking. We will update this with a location very soon.
IS THERE A GEAR CHECK?
For your convenience we have a complimentary clothing check, we have reusable bags for your use but we encourage you to bring your own.
WHERE DO THE RACES START AND FINISH?
The race start will be announced in the next few days.
WHEN IS THE AWARD CEREMONY / WHAT ARE THE AWARDS
The award ceremony will take place at approximately 9:00am. We will announce the winners, and have trophies for the top three overall in each distance as well as the top three masters overall. We have ribbons for top three finishers in each age category for each race distance.
WHERE IS THE KIDS RACE?
The kids race starts and finishes at the finish line for the adult races. It is a 1/2 mile (total) out and back course.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY REGISTRATION
We have lots of goodies for you! Besides all the swag form our great sponsors which you can collect at the event, we have a beer garden with beer, wine and mimosas (root beer for under 21), tasty food, commemorative tech t-shirt, Country Girl necklace, live country music and much much more!
HOW DO I GET THERE?
You can Google directions from wherever you are coming from. The Throw Center is at 9376 NE Sunderland Ave, Portland, OR 97211.
HOW / WHERE DO I GET MY ID CHECKED AND DO I REALLY NEED IT?
Yes, you definitely need your ID. You must have a stamp or a wristband to get your beer. It is best if you get your ID checked EARLY and get it done with. Then you can avoid one more line when you finish. We have an ID check set up starting in the morning. You can get your ID checked there or at the beer area.
