The menu is based on recipes handed down to Maurice from his great-grandmother, who taught him how to cook as he was growing up in Georgia. He then introduced his own twist by adding seasonings and that reflect his Haitian heritage.
Heavenly Host
Fish on a Stick began June 2007 as a ministry after church on Sundays. Owner John says “I remember Jesus fed thousands with fish and that’s what I wanted to do and I wanted to be a fisher of men. The fishing pole or fish on a stick was created from that philosophy and here it is 15 years later and Heavenly Host has fed thousands”.
