IMPORTANT TEAM INFO:
Team Requirement:Teams are self-supporting which means they carry their own water and food during the race. We do not have aid stations and water stops along the course. Each team is limited to one support vehicle which is described as a passenger car, passenger van or sport utility vehicle (SUV). No vehicles wider than 80 inches or longer than 20 feet are allowed. This means no RV’s, motor homes or limousines.
Average Pace & Time Requirement: In order to complete the full 67 mile relay, all running teams must maintain an 11 minute per mile pace. The course will close 12 hours after the start of the first heat (7:00am to 7:00pm) For any team who cannot complete the 67 mile course in this time, we offer an alternative 44 mile course that begins at the Smith and Bybee lake exchange zone. Teams participating in the 44 mile relay must maintain a 16 minute per mile or faster pace. Any team still on the course after 12 hours will be required to stop and leave the course.VIEW DETAILED LEG DESCRIPTIONS
