AM I REGISTERED?
You can search for your name by clicking here (if your name is there you are registered). If you would like to change distances or if there is any info that needs correcting (mis-spelled names, wrong age, etc) please read the next FAQ.
HOW DO I CHANGE MY PERSONAL INFO OR RACE DISTANCE?
You can update your personal info (Gender, Date of Birth, Email Address, Day Phone, Mailing Address, Emergency Contact Name/Phone, How Did You Hear About This Event, User search on ACTIVE.com, and Custom Questions.) by going to your Active.com account and clicking on “my events”. Once there, locate the appropriate event, click the Edit Registration Information link, update the info and click continue. The deadline to change your information is Wednesday Sept. 20th at 11:00am. After that date, please contact us at email@example.com to make any changes.
CAN I GET A REFUND?
Sorry there are no refunds for any of our events. See below on how to transfer your registration.
CAN I TRANSFER MY REGISTRATION TO SOMEONE ELSE?
Yes you can. You can read how to transfer your registration by following this link. Once you do that, follow the instructions. Transfers cost $20 each and do not provide free race entry for a new participant. Read more info at the link above. The deadline to transfer registration is Wednesday Sept. 20th at 11:00am.
AM I GUARANTEED A T-SHIRT?
You are only guaranteed a t-shirt if you register before the t-shirt cutoff date. For this event the date is Friday Sept. 8th at 11:59pm. Anyone registering after that date will need to wait until after they complete their race to check for any available t-shirts. Sizes are limited and definitely not guaranteed at that point. Avoid the hassle and register before the deadline! T Shirts are a soft cotton/poly blend and run on the smaller side
IS THERE A TIME LIMIT TO COMPLETE THE EVENT?
Yes there is. We ask that everyone run / walk 18 minutes per mile or faster. That amounts to completing the event in roughly four hours.
CAN I RUN WITH MY DOG?
If you have a service dog, you are welcome to run with your dog. Otherwise we do not allow dogs, cats, monkeys, zebras etc into the event.
CAN I RUN WITH A JOGGING STROLLER?
Yes. But only for the 5k for this race. The path is extremely narrow and there will be two way traffic on it most of the way. It would work best to have strollers start toward the back of the pack.
CAN I LISTEN TO MUSIC WHILE I RUN?
Yes you can. However, you need to be well aware that emergency vehicles and the occasional rogue driver may be on the course. Please don’t crank your music to 11.
IS THERE PARKING?
Yes there is plenty of parking both at the armory and surrounding businesses that are closed on the weekends.
IS THERE A GEAR CHECK?
For your convenience we have a complimentary clothing check, we have reusable bags for your use but we encourage you to bring your own. IMPORTANT! Please do not leave valuables at the gear check. Although our gear checks are very safe and secure, we will not be responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items.
WHERE DO THE RACES START AND FINISH?
The race starts and finishes in front of the armory on NE 33rd Drive.
WHEN IS THE AWARD CEREMONY / WHAT ARE THE AWARDS?
The award ceremony will take place at approximately 10:00am at the stage. We will announce the winners, and have trophies for the top three overall in each distance. We have ribbons for top three finishers in each age category for each race distance.
WHERE IS THE KIDS RACE?
The kids race starts and finishes at the finish line for the adult races. It is a 1/2 mile (total) out and back course. The Kids race will be let by Olive Root Beer and Dingo The Clown. They have been leading our kids races and keeping the kids happy in our kids zone for many years!
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY REGISTRATION?
We have lots of goodies for you! Besides all the swag form our great sponsors which you can collect at the event, we have a beer garden with beer, cider and wine (root beer for under 21), tasty food, commemorative t-shirt (T Shirts are a soft cotton/poly blend and run on the smaller side), Country Girl Medal, live country music and much much more!

HOW / WHERE DO I GET MY ID CHECKED AND DO I REALLY NEED IT?
Yes, you definitely need your ID. You must have a stamp or a wristband to get your beer. It is best if you get your ID checked EARLY and get it done with. Then you can avoid one more line when you finish. We have an ID check set up starting in the morning. You can get your ID checked there or at the beer area.
