HOW IS MY REGISTRATION FEE SPENT?

AM I  REGISTERED?
You can search for your name by clicking here (if your name is there you are registered). If you would like to change distances or if there is any info that needs correcting (mis-spelled names, wrong age, etc) please read the next FAQ.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY PERSONAL INFO?
You can update your personal info (Gender, Date of Birth, Email Address, Day Phone, Mailing Address, Emergency Contact Name/Phone, How Did You Hear About This Event etc) by  logging onto your account from the RAM Racing website http://ramracing.enmotive.com.  Look under “Upcoming Races” column on the right side of the screen to find the event you are looking for.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY RACE DISTANCE?

1) Log onto your account from the RAM Racing website http://ramracing.enmotive.com/

2) Open the “My Account” tab in the upper right corner of the screen

3) Look under the “Upcoming Races” column and click on the “View” tab next to the correct race

4) Change away, just be aware that you will be prompted for the payment difference for switching to a longer distance.

CAN I GET A REFUND?
Sorry there are no refunds for any of our events.  See below on how to transfer your registration.

CAN I TRANSFER MY REGISTRATION TO SOMEONE ELSE?
Yes you can.  Please contact us at info@terrapinevents.com for any transfers.  Transfers cost $30 each.  The deadline to transfer registration is Friday April 6th at 11:59pm.

AM I GUARANTEED A T-SHIRT?
You are only guaranteed a t-shirt if you register before the t-shirt cutoff date.  For this event the date is Tues. April 3rd at 11:59pm.  Anyone registering after that date will need to wait until after they complete their race to check for any available t-shirts.  Sizes are limited and definitely not guaranteed at that point.  Avoid the hassle and register before the deadline!

IS THERE A TIME LIMIT TO COMPLETE THE EVENT?
Yes there is.  The city of Portland requires events that take place in downtown to maintain a 15 min per mile pace.  We ask that everyone run / walk 15 minutes per mile or faster.  If you happen to fall behind the pace tail car, you must walk or run on the sidewalks.  Also, as a participant, it is your responsibility to begin the event on time.  If you are late for the event and the tail pace car has already left the start area, you MUST run or walk on the sidewalk until you get ahead of the tail vehicle.  The roads behind the vehicle are open to traffic and it is imperative to your safety that you do this.

CAN I RUN WITH MY DOG?
If you have a service dog, you are welcome to run with your dog.  Otherwise we do not allow dogs, cats, monkeys, zebras etc into the event.

CAN I RUN WITH A JOGGING STROLLER?
Yes.

CAN I LISTEN TO MUSIC WHILE I RUN?
Yes you can.  However, please keep the volume at a reasonable level for everyone’s safety.  There is always a chance that emergency vehicles or the occasional random vehicle might be present on the course and you will need to hear them coming.

IS THERE PARKING?
There is plenty of parking in downtown Portland.  There is on-street parking as well as many Smart Parks located near the start / finish.  However, we encourage everyone to carpool or take public transportation. There are MAX stops within blocks of the start / finish.  We also encourage you to ride your bikes to our events!

IS THERE A GEAR CHECK?
For your convenience we have a complimentary clothing check, we have reusable bags for your use but we encourage you to bring your own.  IMPORTANT!  Please do not leave valuables at the gear check.   Although our gear checks are very safe and secure, we will not be responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items.

WHERE DO THE RACES START AND FINISH?
The races start and finish on Front Ave between the Morrison and Burnside bridges.  The pre and post race party takes place in Waterfront Park.

WHEN IS THE AWARD CEREMONY / WHAT ARE THE AWARDS?
The award ceremony will take place at approximately 9:45am.  We will announce the winners, and have trophies for the top three male / female overall in each distance.  We have ribbons for top three male / female master’s and each age category for each race distance.

WHEN / WHERE IS THE KIDS RACE?
The kids race is at 8:10am and starts / finishes at the finish line for the adult races.  It is a half mile out and back.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY REGISTRATION?
We have lots of goodies for you!  Besides all the great stuff from our sponsors, There is tasty food, commemorative t-shirt, live music after the event and much much more!  This is also a beer / wine / spirits festival, and all participants receive tasting tokens as part of their entry.

HOW DO I GET THERE?
You can Google directions to the park from wherever you are coming from.  Waterfront Park is located on Front Ave. in Portland.

HOW / WHERE DO I GET MY ID CHECKED AND DO I REALLY NEED IT?
Yes, you definitely need your ID.  You must have a stamp or a wristband to get your beer.  It is best if you get your ID checked EARLY and get it done with.  Then you can avoid one more line when you finish.  We have an ID check set up starting in the morning.  You can get your ID checked there or at the beer area.
