EVENT INFO
Below you will find all the information you will need for packet pickup and race day. If you have any questions or changes, please feel free to contact us at bridgetobrews@gmail.com or visit the registration page for details.
*We recommend that you have a digital copy of your registration handy.
This year we are bringing the heat! If you’ve been to Bridge to Brews before, you’ll notice we are making some changes. We’re working hard on delivering an epic event featuring the wonderful bridges of Portland and the world class beers we are known for! You won’t want to miss it.
PACKET PICKUP:
To avoid any delays starting the race, please try to pick up your packet before race day. Packet pick up details will be released soon.
You will receive your race bib with beer voucher and your t-shirt. Route maps will be available to take a picture of or you can follow the link on the registration page.
PACKET PICKUP TIMES:
Will be posted soon, please wait while we finalize the times and locations for this year.
You may still make changes as they pertain to the race you are running in person at packet pickup. Also, if you will be transferring your entry to someone else, you may do so at packet pickup. A new registration sheet will need to be filled out and signed. Proof of permission to transfer will be required from the original purchaser.
RACE DAY INFO:
Sunday, April 21, 2024
The start and finish location for each race is at Tom McCall Waterfront Park between the Morrison and Burnside bridge.
PARKING:
Limited parking is available on the streets downtown so we recommend carpooling, catching local transportation, or walking/biking. If you do drive and are looking for a parking lot, here is a LOT LOCATOR.
EVENT START TIMES:
8:50 AM – 10k and 8k
9:00 AM – Beer Festival opens
TBD – Bridge Kids Half Miler
TIME LIMITS:
Because the roads used for the race must be re-opened for normal traffic patterns, we are required to set course time limits that must be strictly adhered to. The course time limit for the 10k and 8k is based on a 15:00 minute per mile pace, which is a light jog. This equates to about 1 hour and 33 minutes for the 10k or about 1 hour and 15 minutes for the 8k. Participants who have fallen behind the minimum required pace will be required to move off the roadway and continue as an unsupported pedestrian.
* Identifiable volunteers will be on hand to help direct pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
* Run with care! You will be running across uneven surfaces which can be slick especially when wet (and it "sometimes" rains!). Please watch your footing at all times.
PRIZES:
Prizes will be given to the top three male and female overall. The prize ceremony start time is to be determined.
BEER FESTIVAL:
Last year's list of breweries included BINARY, GOLDEN VALLEY, GIGANTIC, PORTLAND CIDER, 19 ACRES, BUOY, STICKMEN. We will update you on the list for 2024 as soon as possible.
Non runner guests can join us! Beer festival cups and tokens can be purchased separately on our online registration or on race day while supplies last. Food can be purchased directly from the trucks.
We are looking forward to a wonderful day of running over bridges and drinking beer in Portland!
See you on Race Day!
