COURSE MAP AND DESCRIPTION / START LOCATION

The race starts and finishes at the Widmer Bros. Brewery at 929 N Russell St. in Portland. There is free on-street parking throughout the neighborhood but it is EXTREMELY limited. DO NOT PARK IN THE RAIL YARD PARKING LOT OR YOU WILL BE TOWED!!!

PLEASE carpool, ride a bike or take Public transportation! The MAX stops half a block from the start / finish. Please go to TriMet.org to find out the best Public transportation routes. From the brewery, all participants will head North on Mississippi to Knott and then east to Borthwick, South to Russell and then take Russell to Kerby. There is a nice hill on Kerby up to the entrance onto the Fremont bridge. Once accross the bridge and off the I405, participants will do a quick stint on 14th to Johnson and then onto 16th. Both events continue on 16th to Thurman where they will split.

The 8k will turn right out to Front Ave.

The 10k will turn left onto Thurman to 18th to Vaughn to 19th / Upshire / 20th / Wilson / 21st and out to Front where they will turn right and meet back up with the 8K at Front and 15th.

Both events will continue to 9th and take 9th to the Broadway bridge. Once over the Bridge participants turn left down to Interstate and back to the Finish at the Brewery.
